Hello, the shelf life of high-fructose corn syrup after opening is affected by various factors, including storage conditions, the tightness of the seal after opening, and the quality of the syrup itself.

Generally, if high-fructose corn syrup is well-sealed after opening and stored under suitable conditions (such as a temperature controlled between 27~32℃, and at least not lower than 20℃), it can be stored for a relatively long time. However, according to some food industry requirements and practical experience, it is recommended to use opened high-fructose corn syrup within 24 hours to ensure optimal quality and food safety.

However, if storage conditions are poor, such as excessively high temperatures or inadequate sealing, high-fructose corn syrup may spoil more easily or grow bacteria. At room temperature (uncontaminated and well-sealed), high-fructose corn syrup can be stored at room temperature for 1~3 months, but should not be stored for more than 3 months in winter and no more than 1 month in summer.

To ensure food safety and quality, it is recommended that you use the glucose syrup as soon as possible after opening and carefully observe its condition. If there is any off-odor, discoloration, or mold, it should be discarded immediately.
